Shellito Passes the Physician Vascular Interpretation Exam

(Wichita, KS) —John (Jack) L. Shellito, MD FACS RPVI (Vascular Surgery / Aesthetics) recently passed the Physician Vascular Interpretation exam by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. 

Dr. Shellito’s interest include, but are not limited to: arterial and endovascular procedures, carotid endarterectomy, subclavian and upper extremity embolectomy / bypass, mesenteric bypass, abdominal aortic aneurysm open and stent graft repair, repair of aneurysms of iliac and peripheral arteries, iliac angioplasty / stenting, aortoiliac and aortofemoral bypass / extra, anatomic bypass / femoral-popliteal bypass for occlusive disease, femoral-distal bypass for rest pain / limb salvagem, venous procedures: endovascular laser ablation of varicose veins (EVLT), mini-phlebectomy / vein stripping for varicose veins, sclerotherapy for spider veins, topical laser therapy for spider veins, vena caval filter replacement and first rib resection for subclavian vein thrombosis.

Dr. Shellito is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, by the Vascular Surgery Board of the American Board of Surgery and by the American Board of Phlebology.  Dr. Shellito joined Wichita Clinic in 1985 and currently sees patients at Wichita Clinic Founders’ Circle (1947 Founders’ Circle, Wichita, KS) and Via Christi Advanced Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery (9211 E 21st St, Wichita, KS).  Dr. Shellito is currently the Executive Medical Officer of Wichita Clinic.  Appointments can be made by calling 316-613-4707.
